General Overview

This project was made for USA based publishing house Feldheim Publishers, dealing mainly with distribution of Jewish books. The company started with the American market, but eventually expanded to worldwide scope. That’s why representative online platform suitable for their needs were crucial in their needs.

Home page features the fancy sliders with the bestsellers titles and new releases, allowing to promote the most profitable items of the store. Additionally we have created custom category view for the project. Except of the regular product listing users can benefit from the sliders, representing the overview of the sub-categories.

Authors

As long as this project was aimed on book selling, we have implemented the additional functionality for Authors. Every user can click on author of the particular book and browse all the books of this author.

Custom shipping

The custom shipping module was developed for the project, giving the website owners a full control over the shipping of the particular books. Right now for each product item the different shipping options can be set on the basis of country: USA only, USA and Israel only and Worldwide.

Custom orders export

In order to ensure the integration with the external system of orders management and shipping, we have developed custom export module allowing to download the .csv file with all the information on the orders.
