General Overview

Project created for a popular German news company, and was aimed at fast delivery of the most recent information in the different interest fields to their readers.

News

Based on extended news module, all the news articles are divided into the different categories. First division was based on the local and global news. Then the categorization was made for the particular news fields: sport, culture, politics, events, etc.

Video reportages and Photo-galleries

Additionally we have implemented special news types – Video reportages and Photo galleries. Users of the project have the possibility to rate and comment particular news items. The information is updated on the hour basis.

Community

Extremely advanced section of the project became the community, as our client has decided to make the steps to retain the users within the project. All the registered user have the possibility to:

• Create their own blog
• Comment the blog articles of the other users
• Create the photo- and video-galleries
• Edit their own profile
• Add/Remove/Block other users as friends
• Write private messages
• Read the system notifications

and all the other community related features.
